NDIS
Helping YOU achieve your BEST
Our role of helping people in Belmont and the wider Perth community has spanned more than 25 years, and collectively our team of Physiotherapists brings a wealth of clinical (and life!) experience that our patients love to access.
Involvement with disability is the very essence of Physiotherapy. Restoring an individual to better function, improving their quality of life, maximising their potential...this is what inspired most Physios to move in to the profession, it is what we trained for and what we strive to provide.
Supporting clients of the NDIS is therefore a natural extension of the services we already offer at our clinic. At its heart and core values, the goal of the NDIS is to help those with disability improve and maximise their quality of life. This fits 'hand in glove' with how Belmont City Physiotherapy Clinic perceives its own role in the community.
We can help you take control.
"We help people with disability be more independent, find work, study and have greater choice and control over how they want to live their life"
NDIS Mission Statement
How can we help?
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is an amazingly positive government initiative that offers tailored and customised support services for individuals living with disability.
The benefits of Physiotherapy are well known. We help people recover their movement, strength, balance, function. But it's much more than that. It's about what those things provide. It's about facilitating quality of life, empowering individuals to take on the challenges that they previously thought were out of reach. For clients of the NDIS, its about helping them set, understand, and achieve their goals!
Physiotherapy input doesn't happen in a vacuum. We are often just one part of a wider program for clients of the NDIS. We will liaise regularly with your Plan Provider and other Health Professionals to ensure that you are getting the care and input you need. Our team will spend quality time with you to work through your own individual health and fitness concerns, your ambitions and your goals, both short term and longer. By improving your physical wellbeing there are parallel side benefits that are just as important to build; your confidence, your mental health and your emotional wellbeing.
Conditions we can assist with
Our team is available to treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions both within our clinic itself, and for those in need of a Home Visiting Service, we will be implementing this as well from late 2024!
Our clinic is fantastically well equipped for 'in-rooms' treatments as well as having studio Pilates gymnasium to assist with all manner of rehabilitation needs.
