About Our Clinic
Welcome to Belmont City Physiotherapy Clinic!
We have been helping the local community recover from their injuries, strains and sprains since 2000. Our Physiotherapists have wide ranging experience in the comprehensive assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, work related and motor vehicle accidents, exercise rehabilitation and Clinical Pilates. Collectively, the experience of our team spans more than half a century, enabling us to be confident in the quality service we can deliver to our patients. We believe in establishing a clear diagnosis quickly, educating our patients on the nature and prognosis of their problem and formulating an appropriate treatment plan to help you achieve your recovery goals.
Physiotherapists are skilled health practitioners and as proud members of the Active Physiotherapy Group, we are actively committed to the professional development of our staff. We employ a wide variety of manual therapy and other treatment techniques, and all of our staff participate in regular ongoing education and are committed to the use of the best evidence informed principles to assist your recovery. We will help you get through the acute phase of your injury, facilitate the rehabilitation process and provide longer term management solutions to assist with chronic conditions. Our aim is to help you recover, minimise your risk of re-injury, and get you back doing everything you love as quickly as possible.
At Belmont City Physiotherapy Clinic, we work closely with local GP’s, Medical Specialists, Podiatrists and other Allied Health Professionals to ensure that your treatment is appropriate.
Helping YOU achieve your best!
Belmont City Physiotherapy Clinic has been serving the local community since 2006, helping people just like you recover from their injuries and mishaps. We specialise in the accurate diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal disorders, and offer a wide range of treatment options, from manual therapy to Clinical Pilates, dry needling to myofascial therapy, exercise rehabilitation, hydrotherapy and more. Our Practice Principal, Ed Winship, has been 'looking after the locals' since he started working in Belmont back in 2000, so he is well known to many already! Over time, he has developed a fantastic team of Physios and support staff to create a vibrant, fun and friendly setting where recovery from injury doesn't have to be a chore.
Our experienced professionals combine to bring many years of clinical experience, all provided in an energetic environment that maintains the highest professional standards. All of our Physiotherapists are members of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, so you can be sure your injury is in the best possible hands!
Our clinic includes a Clinical Pilates Studio and Gymnasium, Private Rooms, and an extensive range of treatment equipment.
There are a range of other health services available nearby should you need them. These include dental, pathology, GP, and pharmacy services, as well as other allied health services. This makes our location an ideal destination to attend to all your healthcare needs.
As a private billing practice, we strive to provide the highest quality services for our patients. If you have ancillary cover for Physiotherapy as part of your Private Health Insurance, some of the cost of treatment will be covered, how much will depend on your individual level of cover. Private patients are eligible to claim for a rebate from their Private Health Fund for services received by a Physiotherapist. We offer the HICAPS facility onsite, so the claim is processed immediately and you only have to pay the gap. Most do, but not all Private Health funds support HICAPS - we can check this on the day for you.
