Our Services

Assessment & Treatment of Musculoskeletal Disorders Our therapists have more than 30 years of combined experience in the comprehensive assessment and treatment of musculo-skeletal conditions, be they sports related injuries, work/motor vehicle accidents, or the typical aches and pains of every day life. We believe in establishing a clear diagnosis quickly, and in educating our patients on the nature and prognosis of their problem. As a patient, this will help you gain a clearer understanding of the issues you face, and most importantly help you to assist your own recovery.

We are trained and skilled in a wide variety of manual therapy techniques, and all of our staff are committed to ongoing education and the use of evidence based practice principles. We will help you get through the acute phase of your injury, facilitate the recovery process and can offer you longer term solutions to assist with the management of chronic conditions and reduce the chances of injury recurrence.

At Belmont City Physiotherapy Clinic, we work closely with local GP’s, Medical Specialists, Podiatrists and other Allied Health Professionals to ensure that your treatment is appropriate. We are committed to early intervention, and rapid diagnosis and treatment in order to optimise your recovery and get back doing what you do best in quickest possible time frame.

Clinical Pilates We have a well equipped Pilates Studio onsite, with a range of specialised equipment including Reformers, Trapeze, Wunda Chairs, Barrel Arcs and more. Our Clinical Pilates classes run throughout the week and represent a great way to safely transition from your injury towards complete exercise independence!

Exercise Rehabilitation In addition to our Pilates classes, Belmont City Physiotherapy Clinic has a rehabilitation gym onsite and also offers hydrotherapy sessions through our ties with local pools and Leisure Centres.

Work Related and Motor Vehicle

Our therapists have extensive experience in the management of compensable injuries. Please note a Doctor’s referral is required to access Physiotherapy treatment under both the Worker’s Compensation and Motor Vehicle Insurance schemes. We will help optimise your recovery and get you back on track quickly.

Veteran Affairs

We are proud to offer our services to those who offered theirs in the service of our country. A GP or specialist referral is generally required for Gold/White card holders to access Physiotherapy treatment. These referrals are then valid for 12 months.

Osteoporosis and Arthritis Seminars We offer an educational service to our patients to help them better understand the nature and difficulties posed by these two disorders. Each is covered in a 3 session workshop which includes a lecture component followed up with active exercise advice and instruction to help improve strength and daily function in the safest and most appropriate manner.
